Equestrian Mums Club turns one!

Hurrah! Cheers to one whole year of connection, support and shared passions 💛

As we’ve made it 365 days on… we’ve decided to mark the occasion with a little recap of what we’ve seen so far & a glimpse for you all of what’s still to come.

As we saddle up for the second year of the Equestrian Mums Club, it’s hard to believe just how much we’ve grown and achieved together in just 12 months. What began as just two of us - first time mums united by our shared love for horses and our combined loneliness and search for answers - has blossomed into a supportive, thriving community of over 2,500 people that spans over 40 countries(!). We’re amazed, thrilled and heartened to see so many of you joining in the conversation.

Reflecting on the trail

When we first launched the community, our goal was simple: to create a space where equestrian parents could come together to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs — both in the saddle and in parenthood.

We envisioned a community that would offer more than just parenting and riding tips, care and advice - but also encouragement for balancing family life with our equestrian passion. Where people could feel safe to chat about the good times and the bad - without the fear of being judged for every minute detail.

Wholesome - but not “sickly”.
Positive - but not “toxic”.
Fun - but not “irreverent” or “comedic” (intentionally, anyway!).

Looking back, we can proudly say that we’ve achieved that and more. Over the past year, we’ve hosted some incredible guest podcasts, shared countless stories, provided support during tough times, and - most importantly - built real, lasting friendships. From exchanging tips on how to juggle the school run alongside keeping your horse fit enough to compete, to cheering each other on at events (both horsey and human!), the Equestrian Mums Club has truly become a one-of-a-kind family.

Highlights of the year

As we celebrate our first anniversary, it’s the perfect time to reflect on some of the (very many) highlights of the past year:

41 fun-filled podcast episodes. With more than 22 guests - talking everything from Olympic efforts to grassroots competition, equestrian entrepreneurship and content creation, plus health and wellness to financial planning… We’ve been absolutely blessed to have such a wide range of people ready to tell us their experiences, and tips learned along the way.

Over 12,000 podcast streams in 40+ countries. Not only have we spoken to people on home soil (the UK), we’ve spoken to and connected with people from all around the globe! We’ve been privileged to hear their stories too, and see how the equestrian parenting gig may differ between countries. Truly fascinating - we’ve so much to learn!

A close knit network of parents - ready to support each other at every turn. Definitely THE reason this project started, we’re proving even a small community can be mighty. We’re proud to represent a group of people standing shoulder-to-shoulder with each other - rooting for each other as well as their families, horses and businesses, too. MAGIC.

Looking ahead: The future of the Equestrian Mums Club

As we walk on into our second year, the future looks fun.

We’ve got exciting plans in store - new collaborations with equestrian brands, fun challenges, new and improved podcast formats, exciting new guest speakers and some in-person gatherings… all with the aim of bringing this group of fabulous humans closer together.

We want to keep tackling the hard topics head on, celebrating your successes with you and bringing you resources that truly add value to your equestrian parenting journeys.

A huge, heartfelt, THANK YOU!

We’re so grateful for each and every one of you who has been part of this incredible journey so far. Whether you’ve been with us from day one or just recently joined as a podcast listener or community advocate - you’ve helped make the Equestrian Mums Club the warm, welcoming, and empowering place it is today.

To all of the parents and supporters who’ve made this first year such a success - thank you! 💛

Your energy, enthusiasm, and endlessly giving spirits have been the heart and soul of this community. Together, we’ve built something that really does buck the trend, and we can’t wait to see what this next year brings.

Here’s to another year of laughing, crying, learning and supporting one another —both in the arena and beyond. Happy one-year anniversary, Equestrian Mums Club! Let’s make the next year even more memorable.

K & S xx
